My passion about football stems back before I was even born. My parents were into football a lot, they were colts fans until they left Baltimore. My parents attended training camp for the colts. When I was young, visiting my mom was a normal occurrence, to the point that a guy used to recognize me enough to throw me up and down. When I started going to school, my mom would say "Johnny came in today to see his buddy but you weren't there." Not knowing who Johnny was until I was a bit older and realized that it was Johnny Unitas. Spending my early child hood without a local team, I started liking certain players. With me being a gamer, I had Techmo bowl for NES, so you know I had to like Bo Jackson. Bo was my first favorite player and I was a raiders fan until 96'. I however, had a couple NFC favorite teams too due to another player I really followed and that was Deion Sanders.
That all changed in 1996 when Baltimore got the Ravens. Since then, I've been a strong supporter of the purple and black.
Before putting on the face paint (yes it's face paint and not a mask lol), I was a super fan for a very long time. To the point that I even worked for the Ravens training camp in Westminster, MD.
Fast forward to 2008, At that time I was becoming a bit more financially stable and able to start attending games live, I quickly fell in love with the whole Ravens game day atmosphere. In 2013, I became a season ticket holder for the Baltimore Ravens and haven't turned back.
November 10,th, 2016 - The night that changed everything. I showed up to the game with a friend of mine and noticed it was a bit chilly outside. At that time, we walked past the face painting place. I saw the person and said "Hey, I want my full face painted, to resemble a Raven." After that night, every Ravens game I've been painted up. I then met with some of the Ravens Super fans (shout out to OLD School, Purple Haze, Captain Dee Fence, Camo and the Baltimore Hons), who told me to start going in character. Since I was usually in a skull face paint, I decided a GRIM Reaper would be fitting with the whole background of how the team was named the Ravens.
